The Rules

1. You are tasked with solving a series of 20 puzzles. Feel free to use search engines or other tools to find solutions.

2. All puzzle solutions should be inserted into this website's URL to find the next puzzle. For example, if the solution is "random words" then you should go to: cicada4407.com/randomwords

3. There is no way to "save your place" other than remembering the URL. Try using your browser to pin the tab or save it as a bookmark.

4. Puzzles #1 through #9 are public. On May 6th, Puzzle #10 will unlock, with another puzzle releasing each day until Puzzle #20 on May 16th. This should give contestants some time to catch up to one another.

5. There are physical gift card prizes along the way. Only ONE gift card may be claimed per person. When you find one, please ignore future gift cards.

6. Everyone who solves Puzzle #20 will get a reward, but the first person to solve it can claim an additional prize (even if they have a gift card).

7. You may solve these puzzles alone or collaborate with friends (you can decide how to share prizes).
